About Me and other Information

My Story

I started taking pictures with my son a couple years ago. Then I was using a point and shoot Kodak DX3900. We had fun in the local parks with taking pictures of insects, spiders and local wildlife. We enjoyed looking at the pictures and printing them off for his scrap book. My wife noticed that photos were getting better and better, so she suggested that I get more involved with that as a possible hobby. I even went and invested in Photoshop 7.0 as I had heard it was the premier software for photography. With some experimentation and practice, I was able to come up with some really fun photographs (take note in the Fantasy Section). My family enjoyed the pictures I would send them during holidays.

So here I am today, running with Canon D-SLR camera. Reminds me of my college days when I had a Canon AE-1 Programmable 35mm camera. I am still having fun with my son, but wanted to share what we have with you.
